Dentures and Partials

Missing teeth can impact one’s comfort, appearance and confidence. At Gateway Dental Care, we offer personalised denture solutions to help restore your smile and improve your quality of life. Our team is dedicated to finding the best option tailored to your needs.

Dentures and Partials for a Natural Fit

We provide both full and partial dentures to replace missing teeth. Full dentures are ideal if you’ve lost all teeth in one or both arches, while partial dentures replace several missing teeth. Each set is custom-made for a comfortable and natural look.

Complete Dentures: Regain Confidence and Function

Our high-quality complete dentures mimic natural teeth and gums, allowing you to speak and eat with ease. At Gateway Dental Care, we ensure your dentures fit securely and blend seamlessly with your smile.

Types of Dentures

There are multiple types of dentures, each with its own unique purposes and benefits. Here are some of the different types of dentures we offer and how they can help complete your smile.
Conventional
Conventional complete (full) dentures are removable and replace an entire arch of missing teeth. We can typically fit conventional dentures after the gums heal from tooth removal.
Partial
Partials replace several missing teeth, but not all of them. This option is ideal for patients who still have some natural teeth remaining. Partials rely on a metal framework or base to stay in place.
Implant-Supported
As the name suggests, these dentures are attached to and supported by dental implants. These dentures provide enhanced stability compared to removable dentures that sit on the gums.
Immediate
Immediate dentures allow patients to have teeth immediately after a tooth extraction, even during the healing process. However, we may need to adjust the dentures once your gums heal.
Flexible
Flexible dentures offer enhanced comfort and a natural appearance as they adapt to your gums' contours. They're made from a flexible, somewhat softer material and are discreet.

Frequently Asked Questions

When you explore tooth replacement options, it’s important to understand the distinctions between full dentures and partial dentures.

Full Dentures

Full dentures, also known as complete dentures, are an excellent choice for patients who have lost all their teeth in the upper or lower arch. They rest comfortably on the gums and restore chewing functionality and the aesthetics of a complete smile. In addition to enhancing your appearance, full dentures can provide crucial support for your facial structure and help maintain a natural look.

Partial Dentures

Partial dentures are for individuals who still have some natural teeth remaining. These dentures effectively fill the gaps left by missing teeth and attach securely to the existing teeth with metal clasps or precision fittings. Partial dentures can improve one’s ability to chew and speak while preventing the remaining natural teeth from shifting out of alignment.

We Welcome Your Call

Partial Dentures for a Complete Smile

If you still have healthy teeth but need to fill in gaps, partial dentures are an excellent option. They help prevent your remaining teeth from shifting and restore your smile's appearance and function. Made from durable acrylic and metal, we design partial dentures to fit comfortably while blending seamlessly with your natural teeth.
